Design
The Google Pixel 9 maintained a minimalist design, featuring a premium glass back and a frame crafted from aluminum or recycled materials. The phone continued the signature horizontal camera bar at the back, giving it a recognizable Pixel look. The bezels were slimmer, focusing on delivering a sleek, modern aesthetic. New color options were introduced, blending playful tones with elegant finishes.

Display
The Pixel 9 featured a 6.3-inch OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, providing more fluid scrolling and improved gaming experiences. With vibrant colors, deep blacks, and HDR10+ support, the display offered excellent quality for media consumption. Improved brightness levels enhanced outdoor visibility, making it easier to use in direct sunlight.

Performance
Powered by Google's custom-built Tensor G3 chip, the Pixel 9 delivered enhanced AI-driven performance, optimizing battery life, camera capabilities, and app responsiveness. This chipset provided a significant boost in machine learning, enabling more advanced features in photography, language translation, and voice recognition. The Pixel 9 came with at least 8GB of RAM and storage options starting at 128GB.

Camera
The Pixel 9 continued Google’s tradition of outstanding photography, featuring a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities. Google's computational photography, driven by AI, provided exceptional performance in various lighting conditions, with improved Night Sight, Portrait Mode, and enhanced video stabilization. Real-time HDR video and 8K recording were also introduced.

Software
The Pixel 9 ran on Android 15, showcasing Google’s latest innovations in software. It offered more intuitive widgets, expanded privacy controls, and improved customization options. The integration with Google Assistant was further enhanced, allowing for more seamless voice commands and smart device control. Regular software updates remained a hallmark, keeping the device secure and updated.

Connectivity

The Pixel 9 featured a 4,700mAh battery, optimized for all-day use thanks to the efficiency of the Tensor G3 chip and Android's adaptive battery features. Fast charging and wireless charging were supported, with improvements in charging speeds. Google enhanced its battery health features to ensure longer battery life over the lifespan of the device.
